In many construction or renovation projects, it is not uncommon to buy large, heavy or even bulky products in extensive quantities. One's own car is often not sufficient to transport all items properly and safely from the DIY store to the customer's home. Many customers are faced with the decision of either transporting the goods in several trips with their own car or additionally renting a van. An additional challenge is the procurement of suitable tools for certain jobs. Furthermore, small parts such as screws or cable ties regularly run out, for which a trip to the hardware store alone is often not worthwhile. Rural residents in particular have to travel further distances from the DIY store than comparatively urban residents. This leads to increased costs and an enormous expenditure of time due to multiple trips or bringing back the van.
