In rural areas, the nearest pharmacy is often several kilometers away. This results in long distances that must be traveled to obtain medications. Especially for older people, who tend to have a greater need for medication, this can be a major challenge, given the often poor public transport connections.

The autonomous vehicle is equipped with a parcel station, including a few freezers, and loaded with users' orders at a local pharmacy. For prescription drugs, the corresponding prescription can simply be photographed using the cell phone camera and submitted that way. After being loaded by local pharmacies, the vehicle travels a set route that users can view with estimated arrival times. Because the vehicle is not bound by employee protection laws, it can start after normal core working hours have ended, allowing the majority of recipients to be met at home. As soon as the vehicle arrives at a recipient's front door, the recipient is notified via the app and can open the relevant boxes containing their orders and then remove them. When the boxes are closed again by the user, the delivery process is complete. Payment is made conveniently via app.
